I was wondering if you had any success with your potatoes.  We didn&#039;t.  I&#039;m assuming it&#039;s because we didn&#039;t water from the bottom and the straw couldn&#039;t dry out.  Though everything seemed to be fine in terms of stalk growth.  We had 4&#039; high stalks that flowered, but the only potatoes we had were the few that were on top of soil.  Nothing grew in the straw.  

It would be good to hear if others had success and maybe we could figure out what we did wrong.
